FormArt
Doors and windows, metal carpentry, commercial furniture, objects, furnishings
"FORMART" is an Artisan Enterprise, existing and in business since 2006, whose activity is the production and sale of metal frames and carpentry, as well as the entire plant for the production of furnishings, equipment, objects and furnishings that contribute to form the corporate technical assets and know-how of the Company and the brand to be used for the selection of guaranteed quality products to be exported on the national and international market.

But having founded "Formart" (acronym of FORMe di ARTe) in 2006 did not have the objective of joining the rest of the numerous companies in the sector as the advent of new perspectives, determined by the new regulatory and environmental system, gave the opportunity to have to "work" in a more creative and sustainable way with the use of new materials and a new plant system in the construction of building, furnishing and commercial products.

With these assumptions we went on to operate in the various sectors mentioned above, with good sales success and an excellent "return" from the point of view of the quality and originality of the products that stand out in the existing market.

Having acquired, over the years, the knowledge and having the foundations well rooted in the world of traditional craftsmanship, it was possible to evaluate the next step towards "digitization" which is represented by the creation of the "Digital Maker Laboratory". Digital artisans or "makers" represent a technologically based extension of the traditional world of craftsmanship that creates on an engineering basis with electronic equipment, robotic creations, numerical control equipment for conventional activities, such as metalworking, plastics as well as that of wood etc.

In the new laboratory there are instruments and software, numerical control equipment and machines that allow the creation of conventional and technological products through rapid prototyping techniques supported by digital technologies. Typical equipment includes, computers, 3D printers, CNC milling machines, laser cutters, CNC cutting plotters, electronics laboratory, carpentry, mechanical and metalworking equipment.

If we consider that today, through these systems and equipment, it is possible to create and build artifacts of all types and complexities using as a basis materials of vegetable, mineral, polymer or composite origin originating from the recycling of the most varied plastics or other of total sustainability. The "re-proposing", even if in a more evolved way, the millenary art of custom-made craftsmanship in a scale that can vary from the single piece (necessary for the replacement of a carburetor of a vintage motorbike ) to a series of hundreds of pieces (necessary to advertise a niche product or to create a series for collectors).

With the technology of the Digital Maker Laboratory, the piece can be recreated (example of the carburettor) with the acquisition through a "reverse engineering" process, reproduce it with recycled materials for metric verification and then create it with materials suitable for the its definitive use. Against every aspect and rule of globalization, the "digital maker" has created a future full of opportunities without forgetting the "HUMAN" aspect that is always present and necessary in the creation process.
